India Head Saqib Nachan (57) of the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) has died. Saqib had brain hemorrhage while being jailed.

Nachan was brought to DDU Hospital in Delhi from Tihar Jail on 23 June. The condition deteriorated in Safdarjung on Wednesday, where he died on Saturday afternoon at 12:10 pm.

Saqib Nachan was an accused of the Mumbai blast in 2002-03. Which included blasts at Mumbai Central, Vile Parle and Mulund station. These attacks killed 13 people and injured more than 100.

Saqib was also a member of the Islamic State (ISIS) and the banned student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).

Saqib was arrested in 2023

The conviction of the Prevention of Terrorism Act, ie POTA, was sentenced under the Mumbai blast case and illegal weapons. The court sentenced Saqib and his brother to 10 years. In the year 2017, he came out after serving a sentence from jail.

After this, Saqib was accused of involvement in activities related to the terrorist organization ISIS. In 2023, he was again arrested by NIA. He was the main accused in ISIS’s Delhi-Sadha Terror Module.

Saqib Nachan was the leader of the Maharashtra module of ISIS. He built a center in Borivali village of Kalyan. From here he recruited new boys, helped them financially-legal and training them. He also administered an oath of loyalty to the people who joined ISIS for the Khalifa of ISIS.

Nachan has two sons and a daughter. Farhan, a relative of Saqib, was the deputy sarpanch of the village. He was also detained by NIA.
