While both these actors are reputed celebrities in the Bollywood industry, their children – Juhi Babbar and Arya Babbar – never succeeded.
Juhi Babbar’s magic did not work
Raj and Nadira Babbar’s elder daughter Juhi Babbar worked in Bollywood and TV. He played small roles in films like Reflection, Aiyari, Faraj, I wish you our own. However, his films never played on the big screen nor did the audience like his acting. In such a situation, despite being from the house of the top actors, they got the tag of non-performance.
Arya Babbar tried but failed
Raj’s son Arya Babbar started his career in 2002 with the film now. This film proved to be a very big flop and could not even take out its budget. However, Prateek Babbar, son of Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, was successful in establishing himself as an actor. He appeared in small but important characters in films like Brahmastra, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Mulk, Baghi-2, Dhobi Ghat, Chichore. His acting was appreciated, but he was limited to most supportive roles. Prateek is the son of Smita Patil, the first wife of Prateek Babbar Raj Babbar, but he too could not succeed like his mother.
