New Delhi: The Economic Offenses Branch of Mumbai Police (EOW) had sent summons to actor Dino Moriya. This case is from scam related to cleaning the sweet river of Mumbai. In this case, the actor reached the EOW office for questioning at 11 am on Monday morning. Where the statement of Dino Morio has been recorded. This case is being told about the mess of more than Rs 65 crore.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also investigating this case. This investigation was imposed about Rs 1,100 crore in the name of making the sweet river beautiful and cleaning. EOW is investigating what was the conversation with Dino Morio and his brother’s main accused.
What is sweet river scam
Investigation has revealed that there have been many disturbances like increasing tenders in cleaning work, making fake documents and payment for such work which were not actually done. The contractors submitted wrong slips and logbooks. Not only this, machines worth Rs 3 crore in the name of river were also expensive.
The risk of filling water also increased
Due to this scam in the name of cleanliness of the sweet river, not only the public’s money was wasted, but the preparations for the rain of Mumbai were also in danger. Because the water of the sweet river is very important for flow from the low -lying areas of the city.
