New Delhi: The Information Directorate (ED) raided fifteen places in Mumbai and Kochi on Friday 6 June in terms of cleaning the sweet river. One of these places Bollywood actor Dino Moriya was also in Mumbai. It is being told that the ED also raided the houses of Dino Moriya’s brother and the locations of contractors and middlemen. This investigation is being done under the Money Laundering Prevention Act (PMLA). More information about raids is awaited.
Administration gathered under investigation
During the investigation, EOW found that Rs 18 lakh was transferred to a company, where Dino Moriya’s brother Santino Moriya is the director. According to police officials, this amount was transferred by Ketan Kadam, which is one of the main accused in the case. An official told the Times of India, “We are investigating the reasons for transfer of money to UBO Rydez from Ketan Kadam’s account.”
Ketan Kadam is in custody
Ketan Kadam is related to Vodar India LLP and was arrested for allegedly involving the scam related to cleaning the sweet river earlier this month. Investigators found that Vodar India LLP and UBO rides are operated by the same address which is with the Famous Studio in Worli, Mumbai.
