New Delhi. Australian veteran fast bowler Mitchell Starc has suddenly surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from T20 cricket. He announced his retirement from T20 International Cricket a few months before the 2026 T20 World Cup. Mitchell Starc, who is going to be 36 years old in January, has taken this decision to increase his career in Test and ODI cricket. Especially keeping in mind the tour of India, Ashes and the ODI World Cup to be held in South Africa in 2027, he took this step.
Stark said in a statement. “Test cricket has always been my biggest priority. I have created every T20 match played for Australia. Especially the 2021 World Cup. This is not the case that we had won the trophy but that team and tournament were different.
