Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in) has been entrusted with the responsibility of warning users in the country. Qualcomm has a detailed report on security issues that were first discovered and reported by Google’s Threat Analysis Group.
The security agency has also reported that the attackers can be prevented from getting sensitive information by updating the latest and putting arbitrary code on your phone.
This month, the security bulletin has a high severity rating and it has been told about many weaknesses reported in the Qualcomm chipset, which is powering the phone, GPU, Wi-Fi modem and more. The note states that Qualcomm chipset gives power to many types of devices with advanced connectivity, AI and processing capabilities. Many weaknesses have been identified in these products of Qualcomm.
Qualcomm has warned all its handset partners, final consumers and enterprise divisions about the list of potential hazards. The company has also shared details of the Snapdragon chipsets and modems that are affected by these weaknesses and need to pay immediate attention.
