See screen recording signal
In the iPhone: If the red bar or red bubble is seen above the screen, it means the screen is recorded.
In Android: In many phones, red dot, red bar is visible. Apart from this, notifications also come in many phones, ‘Screen recording is on.’
View ongoing apps
-Go to recent apps recently.
-If a screen recording app is open which you have not opened, then it is a sign of danger.
Check notification
Android: ‘Screen Recorder’ may appear in the notification.
iPhone: Recording is on if the recording icon in Control Center is red.
See unknown apps
In Settings> Apps / Installed Apps, see that there is no suspicious app like ‘Screen Recorder, “Spy Recorder’. If it is, remove it from the phone immediately.
iPhone: Settings> General> Check all apps in iPhone storage.
Pay attention to battery and storage
If the screen recording app is going on continuously, the battery will end quickly.
Big video files can fill storage.
Use safety apps
-Apps such as malwarebytes or glasswire can suggest which apps allow screen recording.
-Adio call or chat
-If you record a screen on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, then you do not know.
-If some apps like Zoom or Google Meet give you notification if recording is happening.
