Manisha Thapa of Patna is also among those who lost their lives in the plane crash. Manisha’s 2 uncle Bablu Thapa and Guddu Thapa are the Havildar in Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP). He has a posting in Battalion number 1.

Manisha’s entire family lives near Shyama apartment in Jagdev Path area at some distance from BSAP ground in Patna.

Air India joined after Indigo

Manisha’s neighbors said that she was a promising girl. Manisha was originally from Viratnagar, Nepal, but her father Raju Thapa is posted in Bihar Police in Begusarai. Manisha was born in Patna. Manisha Thapa’s mother Laxmi Thapa is a housewife.

A brother Amit Thapa is still studying. Family members say that Manisha Thapa had earlier joined IndiGo in Patna. He then joined Air India as an air hostess.

A passenger’s life left in the accident

Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner Flight AI-171 flew from Ahmedabad to London at 1:38 pm on Thursday afternoon. It had a total of 230 passengers, including 169 Indians, 53 British, 7 Portuguese and one Canadian citizen. Two minutes later the flight crashed.

These include 103 men, 114 females, 11 children and 2 newborns. The remaining 12 were crew members. The dead include former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, while only one passenger is saved.
