New Delhi. Malayalam and Hindi cinema’s famous actress Malvika Mohanan has reached Bangkok to shoot her upcoming Tamil film ‘Sardar 2’. In the detective-thriller film, she will be seen in the lead role with Karthi and Rajisha Vijayan. Malvika has also shown a glimpse of a picture from the set on social media.
Shooting of film for 100 days
Malvika had told the fans during a session on a social media that she will complete the shooting of this film in June. The shooting of this film has been going on for more than 100 days and in April the team completed 100 days. Director Mitran told in an interview to news agency IANS that only 5-10 percent of the film is yet to be shot and dubbing work is also going on simultaneously.
SJ Surya will be villain in the film
The event revealed that SJ Surya will be seen in the role of villain in the film. His character’s name is ‘Black Dagger’. ‘Sardar 2’ also stars Karthi, SJ Surya and Rajisha Vijayan, Malvika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath and Sajal Ahmed in important roles.
Karthi will be seen in double role
In the story of the film, Karthi’s character is sent on mission as a detective in Cambodia and then China. The makers recently released a promo, in which SJ Surya was shown as the villain ‘Black Dagger’. Karthi is in double role in the film, while Malvika’s character is currently kept secret. Apart from ‘Sardar 2’, Malavika also has Prabhas starrer ‘The Raja Saab’ and ‘Hridayapurnam’.
