In Khandwa, 8 people died due to poisonous gas in a well. All 8 bodies have been taken out of the well in the rescue operation, which lasted about 3 hours. Police, administration and SDERF team reached the spot as soon as the incident was received and conducted a rescue operation

This incident is from Kondawat village in Chhagaonmakhan area of the district on Thursday evening. It is being told that a man named Arjun came down to clean the well for Gangaur immersion, which was unconscious due to poisonous gas and drowned in the swamp deposited in the well. In order to save him, 7 more people landed in the well. All these also drowned from suffocation due to poisonous gas and they lost their lives.
All 8 bodies have been taken to the hospital in Chhagaonmakhan for postmortem. The dead bodies will be cremated on Friday. The administration has announced financial assistance of Rs 4-4 lakh to the families of the deceased.
The team of police, administration and SDERF conducted a rescue operation with the help of villagers.

Call the administration if he did not get out of the well It is being told that 8 people were immersed in the well in the afternoon on Thursday, did not go out till evening. After which the villagers started rescue work at their level. Also informed the police and administration.
On receiving the information of the incident, along with the police and administration team, a 15 -member team of SDERF also reached the spot. The rescue team took a rope and a fake and landed in the well and took out the bodies.
Arjun jumped first, the dead body came out later It is being told that a drain comes out on the side of the well in which this accident happened. Through this drain, the dirty water of the village goes into the well. Due to which the well has turned into a marshes. To clean this swamp, a young man named Arjun landed in a well. It is feared that the dirt made poisonous gas in the well, causing his power and he drowned. After this, 7 people drowned one by one. Arjun’s body was removed in the last rescue.
