The Maharashtra government has released protocol guidelines to decide the official etiquette in the state during a visit to Chief Justice (CJI) of India. Under the guidelines released on Tuesday, CJI BR Gawai has officially given the status of Permanent State Guest in Maharashtra.

Justice BR Gavai went to Maharashtra for the first time on May 18 after becoming Chief Justice of India on 14 May. However, he did not come to receive any of the State Chief Secretary, DGP or Mumbai Police Commissioner in Mumbai, on which CJI Gawai expressed his displeasure.

Due to this, the Maharashtra government had to raise a lot of embarrassment. On Monday, state cabinet minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that he has apologized to CJI Gawai on the phone from the state government for the lapse in the protocol.

Rule of welcoming state guest at the airport According to Maharashtra State Guest Rules, 2004, a state protocol is arranged for a welcome and farewell at the airport on behalf of the State Protocol Sub-Division. The Collector Office Nominated Protocol in the districts arranges to receive or leave the officers.

Now after being nominated as Permanent State Guest in Maharashtra, CJI will be entitled to all protocol-related facilities. They will be provided with housing, vehicle arrangements and security during their visit in any part of the state.

CJI had said- Maharashtra officials do not follow the protocol On May 18 in Mumbai, Maharashtra-Goa Bar Council held the honor ceremony of Chief Justice BR Gawai. Gawai arrived at this program. He said in his address that when the head of an institution is coming to the state for the first time, especially when it is also from the same state, he should think himself whether the behaved was correct or not.

CJI Gawai said, ‘I do not want to talk on such minor issues, but I am disappointed that the big officers of Maharashtra do not follow the protocol. The three pillars of democracy are the same and they should show respect for each other. ”CJI said, CJI said,

If the Chief Justice of India is coming to Maharashtra for the first time, then it is expected that the Chief Secretary, DGP and Mumbai Police Commissioner should be present here. Doing not do this makes him think.

CJI said- All three columns should respect each other During the speech, CJI Gawai became emotional after seeing the respect and love of the people for himself. He said, ‘On May 14, when I took oath as the Chief Justice of India, Maharashtra showered a lot of love on me. People from all over the state expressed their desire to watch the ceremony, but due to the limitations I could not include everyone.

‘I am very grateful to everyone. I am overwhelmed by the love and respect I have received. I have been getting this love for 40 years. Today’s ceremony is unforgettable. I am not able to find words to express my feelings. ‘ he adds-
