Madhur Bhandarkar, who was happy with PM Modi, remembered the first meeting- ‘Work with the vision …’

New Delhi: Film director and script writer Madhur Bhandarkar mentioned his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The director praised the Prime Minister’s personality, attitude and leadership. In a post shared on X, Madhur Bhandarkar can be heard praising PM Modi.

Referring to his two meetings to PM Modi, Madhur Bhandarkar says, ‘I met Prime Minister Modi for the first time in 2011. The meeting took place in a wedding ceremony at the Ashoka Hotel in Delhi. He was a very small, about 30 seconds meeting, in which someone introduced me to PM Modi (then Chief Minister of Gujarat). Even today I have a picture of that meeting. At that time he told me that come to Ahmedabad and I immediately agreed.

Madhur Bhandarkar had another meeting with PM Modi in Ahmedabad in 2013. He went to Gujarat to attend a function, where he reached his residence to meet PM Modi on the suggestion of an MP. Bhandarkar says, ‘I still remember today, it was Sunday. Modi ji called at his house. He reminded me of the first meeting in Delhi. We met for about 40-45 minutes, while the time was only 10-15 minutes. He learned about my struggle, listened to my words carefully. This is his most special thing – he is a very good listener.

Narendra Modi’s leadership skill appreciated
Madhur Bhandarkar also appreciated PM Modi’s leadership skill and visionary thinking. He said that after Modi ji became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, there was development in the state. His vision always rested on future thinking and still remains the same today. He said that what is felt the most in every meeting is his vivacity and extraordinary vision. He communicates with every class – whether it is student, children, influencers or ordinary citizens. He respects everyone. People also recognize him abroad and praise India. Madhur Bhandarkar said that PM Narendra Modi knows very well who contributes to the country. He is like a ‘Father Figure’. His leadership skill has strengthened India at the global level. Cinema or infrastructure, he is a leader inspiring in every field. We proudly say – we are proud to be Indian.
