New Delhi. Lucknow Supergiants lost by 5 wickets against Chennai Super Kings. Rishabh Pant definitely batting in this match but as a captain, he failed to win the match. After the defeat, he said that he could get Bishnoi over. But after talking with the players, he changed his decision.
After the defeat, Rishabh Pant said, “We think we were able to score 10 to 15 runs as a team. We kept losing wickets even when the rhythm was with us. We had to keep sharing. The wicket was stopping a little, but I think we could have scored 15 runs. I am feeling better with every game, but sometimes I am not working.
Pant further said, “I am focusing on every match at one time. We discuss it with many players. But we could not get Bishnoi to get the last over. Bowling in the powerplay has been a matter of concern for us. But we can fix it back. As a team we want to learn positive from every game and we are trying to improve.”
Talking about the match, Rishabh Pant’s 63 -run innings, Lucknow’s team scored 166 runs in 20 overs. Which Chennai Super Kings won in 19.3 overs. Shivam Dubey scored 43 and Dhoni scored 26 runs for Chennai. The next match of Lucknow will be on April 19.
