If you are from Bihar and wish to become a spinner or fast bowler, then pack the bag and reach the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna. But just wait, before that you have to do a small work. Actually, Talent Hunt Program is being organized by Bihar Cricket Association.
Its purpose is to find the bowlers who have the passion for fast or spin bowling inside and have not got any chance till date. By the way, by searching the bowlers, the BCA will train them and prepare them as future players. Speaking to Local 18, the director of BCA’s Cricket Development and Operation, Anand Yalvegi, said that the youth will have to register themselves first to participate in this talent hunt program. This process is completely online.
This is how you can apply
To participate in this talent hunt, you have to go to the official website of Bihar Cricket Association www.biharcricketassociation.in and click on the ‘notification’ section. After this you will see two options. First, a QR code that you can open through the Google Chrome browser installed in your phone and scan through the camera feature (‘Search by image’). After scanning, you will be able to enter the application process directly. The second option will be of a photo icon in the notification on the BCA website. An application form will open as soon as you click on it. You can complete your application by filling the necessary information in this form.
Talent Hunt program will be held at Moinul Haq Stadium
After completing the process of the application, one will have to reach the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna from 9 to 12 May. Keep in mind, in this talent hunt program, only young people who will be 16 to 25 years old. Ten fast bowlers and ten spin bowlers will be shortlisted among the youth who participated in this talent hunt program. The selected bowlers will get a chance to train with the state teams. With this, the BCA will continuously keep these players under its supervision and prepare for the future. Apart from getting training from BCA, there will also be a chance to play in different matches. The bowlers who perform better can also get a chance to be a part of the Indian team.
These two legendary players will be selected
According to the information received from the BCA, the bowlers who participated in this talent hunt program from all over Bihar will have to show their talent in front of the cricket director, local selector and coach in the initial round. After this, in the final round, two former Test cricketers Salil Ankola and Venkatapati Raju will have to show talent. Both these finals will choose 20 players. Let us tell you that both these experts have also been a national selector.
