In Hapur, UP, STF has killed a sharp shooter of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in an encounter. STF Chief Amitabh Yash said that on Wednesday night, Noida STF and Delhi Police surrounded the shooter, he started firing.
In this, two policemen were injured by being shot. In counter -firing, the crook Naveen was shot. The police took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. At the same time, both the injured policemen are undergoing treatment.
The encounter took place at Preet Vihar in Kotwali area around 11 pm on Wednesday night. Naveen Lawrence was an active member of the Bishnoi gang. He used to commit crime in Delhi and UP in association with Hashim Baba, a gang’s notorious historyheater. Naveen had targeted many high-profile people.
Naveen was a resident of Loni in Ghaziabad. He had 20 serious cases like murder, kidnapping, dacoity and MCOCA in Delhi and UP. Out of these, he was also punished in two cases of Delhi.
Riding on this bike, the crook was going. When the police surrounded, the car left the car and started running away.
Delhi Sale gave input to STF
According to police sources, Delhi Special Cell was reported to be Naveen in Hapur. The Special Cell informed UP STF. After this, a team was sent to Hapur in search of him. At the behest of the informer, the team identified the accused and surrounded him.
Noida ASP STF RK Mishra said- The team asked him to surrender, but he opened fire on the police. His bullet was hit by soldiers Ankur and Vijendra. After this, the team opened fire in self -defense. A bullet started going to the crook. He was rushed to the district hospital, where he died during treatment.
With this pistol, the crook fired on the police team.
Here, the police and top officials reached the spot as soon as the information about the encounter was received late at night and inspected the spot. Security in the area was increased after the encounter. STF has recovered bikes and automatic pistols from the crook.
Know about the Lawrence Bishnoi’s shooter There are about 84 FIRs on gangster Lawrence. He was arrested from Nepal in 2016. Since then he is lodged in jail. He is currently lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat. He has not come out of jail for almost 9 years. Despite this, his name has come in the murder cases in the country.
These include the famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Mouswala, Karni Sena President Sukhdev Gogamedi, former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui. Apart from this, he is also behind Bollywood star Salman Khan, surrounded by allegations of hunting black deer.
How Lawrence became a gangster from student
- Gone in politics in college: Lawrence is originally from Fazilka, Punjab. His father was constable. The father’s dream was to make him an IAS officer but Lawrence started taking interest in politics while studying at Chandigarh Dav College.
- When the election lost, he confronted the gang: In 2011, Lawrence formed an organization to contest elections. Named ‘Student Organization of Punjab University’ i.e. Sopu. He contested the election under this banner, but lost. After the defeat, Lawrence began to feel humiliated. The same year he bought a revolver and clashed with the gang who was defeated.
- There was a case of attempt to murder, then caught the path of crime: There was a debate and scuffle between the two gangs. Meanwhile, Lawrence fired. The Punjab Police then registered a case of attempt to murder against him. This was the first case against Lawrence. Lawrence then started involving illegal activities.
Lawrence was arrested by the police in the violence after the defeat in the college election.
- Met the big gangster: He joined gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and Rocky Fazilka’s gang. Bhagwanpuria was a resident of Gurdaspur. He not only taught Lawrence the tricks of business but also gave him an open exemption in his work. Larrence later befriended Sampat Nehra. Lawrence, Goldie and Sampat together started committing crime in Punjab as well as Haryana.
- Appeared in Organized Crime, left home: It was from here that Lawrence joined the Organized Crime. He started asking for ransom from liquor mafia, drug smugglers and businessmen. In 2012-13, he was booked, so he left home. Then started living in different cities with the group.
5 crooks killed in 11 days, 2 policemen killed
In the last 11 days, the UP Police killed 5 miscreants in the encounter. During this time two policemen have died.
- 18 May: The Kaushambi police killed Santosh alias Raju, who looted a copper of 4 crores and robbed a trailer driver in an encounter.
- 18 May: In Jaunpur, Go-smugglers crushed a soldier with a pickup and killed him during checking. After the incident, the police laid siege and killed the crook Salman.
- May 20: In Gonda, the police had killed Sonu Pasi, a 1 lakh prize crook in the encounter.
- May 21: In Barabanki, STF killed a 1 lakh prize crook Gyan Chandra Pasi in an encounter.

23 policemen martyred, 234 crooks killed in 8 years
Talking about the last 8 years, 234 crooks have been killed in UP since 2017. During this time 23 policemen have been martyred. More than 1650 policemen have been injured.
