Dr. Deshmukh says that the process of kidney failure is gradually and the body starts giving some indication in time. The first symptom changes in the amount of urine and color. If the urine starts coming down, the foam appears in it or the color becomes thick yellow or red, then it can be a matter of concern. Apart from this, swelling on the ankles, legs and face is also indicated that the kidney is not doing its work properly.

Dr. Deshmukh said that symptoms like fatigue, weakness, breathlessness, loss of appetite, feeling like vomiting and difficulty focusing can also be associated with kidney failure. Dr. Deshmukh especially advises patients with diabetes and high blood pressure to be vigilant, because both these diseases cause the most damage to the kidneys. He said that these patients should get a regular check -up of kidney every six months, so that any problem can be detected in time.
