Srinagar: The first ‘Khelo India Water Sports Festival 2025’ to start from August 21 is considered a game-changer for Jammu and Kashmir. While the local people dependent on tourism are expected that a large number of tourists will come from all over the country, on the other hand, athletes of Jammu and Kashmir are considering it a big opportunity to challenge the best players at the national level and get respect.

This three-day festival (21 to 23 August) will be an open-edge competition to be held in three medals like Rowing, Canoeing and Kayaking. In this, more than 400 players from 36 states and union territories will compete at the world famous tourist destination, Dal Lake.
