Jalore Veer Bhoomi Jalore, where the stories of valor echo in the sand, is now going to paint in the color of sports. From 3 May to 5 May 2025, a grand game Mahakumbh is being organized on the death anniversary of Veer Veeram Dev and on the auspicious occasion of Jalore Parakram festival. The event will be held under the aegis of Krida Bharti Jalore, in which young players from across the district will participate.
Organized from rural games to modern events
The Khel Mahakumbh will be organized from traditional rural games to modern events. Competitions include interesting and encouraging games like wrestling, boxing, basketball, rope kasi and Sitolia. Through these sports, the youth will demonstrate their energy, technology, patience and discipline.
Traditional Games will get new identity
The main objective of this event is to motivate the youth towards sports, promote healthy lifestyle and revive the heroic tradition of Jalore. The special thing is that modern and rural games will be presented on the same platform, which will give new identity to traditional sports and today’s generation will be able to connect with their roots.
Various competitions will be held from morning to evening
The venue of the program will be Bhagat Singh Krida site, Swarnagiri Sports Foundation and Shah Pujaji Stadium, which will become the center of sports and enthusiasm in these three days. Various competitions will be organized at these places from morning to evening, in which the enthusiasm of the audience will also be worth seeing.
New opportunity to improve the sports talent of the district
Veer Veeram Dev is the historical personality of Jalore, whose saga and might still inspire people. Through this game Mahakumbh, Jalore will pay homage to his memory and will give a message to the coming generations that the might can be shown not only in the battlefield, not in the sports ground.
