Delhi University has launched a new elective course to teach students love and breakup lessons. The name of this course is- Negotiating Intimet Relationship. It was listed on the website in 2023, which has now been commissioned for students with 2023-26 sessions.

According to the Department of Psychology, in this course, students will be taught subjects such as what to handle a relationship, in a breakup and how to identify the red flag in the relationship. The goal of this course is to strengthen the new generation students emotionally.

Course format:

  • The course is of four credits, which will have 3 lectures and 1 tutorial every week.
  • In the tutorial, love and breakup will talk on movies related to it. There will also be discussion on topics related to dating culture.
  • In this discussion, students will be able to talk openly on their relationship without any judgment.

Why testing on flies to understand drug addiction? Actually, about 75% genes of fruit flies and humans are the same, especially large limbs and genes associated with diseases. Through research, scientists are trying to find out how drug addiction starts, how it grows and how it can be stopped.

What was done with flies in testing? Usually fruit flies run away from cocaine, as they find it bitter. This bitterness shows some special ‘Test receptors’ on his feet. Scientists have deactivated these receptors.

Now as soon as these changed flies get cocaine, within 16 hours, these cocaine mixes are liking fresh water more than plain fresh water.
