Arvind Kejriwal is produced in Sonepat Court today
No Delhi lawyer arrived on behalf of Kejriwal in the case of consolidation of poison in the Yamuna river. However, the local lawyer appeared on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party.

The Haryana government was to file a reply by Bhuvesh Malik on behalf of the state. Today the reply has not been filed and the next date was requested by the government lawyer Bhuvesh before the court. Due to which the next hearing will be held on 9 October 2025.
Objection application was installed in court
The objection application was implemented by Arvind Kejriwal in CGM Neha Goyal’s court on the last date on the last date. The lawyer said that the court does not have the right to trial a complaint against the MP/ MLA.
He has said that special MP-MLA should be heard in the court. On the other hand, the government lawyer on behalf of the government had sought time from the court to reply to the objection application while presenting his side. Today, a reply was to be filed on behalf of government lawyer Bhuvesh.
What was the case
Ashish Kaushik, XEN Engineer of the Irrigation Department in Sonepat, had filed a petition in the court and said that on 28 January 2025, the people of the nearby villages adjacent to the Yamuna river reached the office of the irrigation department. He said why poisoned the Yamuna river? This will cause animals and people to die.
When people were asked the reason, they showed a video clip running on social media. In the video, Arvind Kejriwal was making a statement that the Haryana government had added poison to the Yamuna river. Due to the alert of Delhi Jal Board officials, information has been received about poison in water. Due to which the lives of the people of Delhi have been saved.
The officer further said that after listening to the people, he pacified everyone. He was told that what is being said in the viral video is nothing like this. There is no poison in water. Arvind Kejriwal’s statement is wrong. After this, the crowd left from there.

FIR was also against Kejriwal in Kurukshetra
A case was registered against Arvind Kejriwal at Shahabad police station in Kurukshetra on February 4, a day before voting for Delhi Assembly elections. Senior Advocate Jagmohan Manchanda filed a petition in the court on January 28 after Kejriwal’s poisoned statement.
He accused him of hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus and making inflammatory riots between the people of Haryana and Delhi. After which a case was registered against Kejriwal under sections 192, 196, 197, 248-A and 299.

CM Saini had said- I will file a defamation case
On the statement of Arvind Kejriwal, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini had said, ‘He should immediately apologize to the people of Haryana and Delhi for his statement, otherwise we will file a defamation case against him. People of Haryana worship Yamuna. Why will they add poison to the river water?
After this, Saini went to the coast and showed the water of Yamuna. CM Saini had said, “On the border of Haryana, he was unaware of the water of the holy Yamuna.”
After this, Arvind Kejriwal hit back at Saini and said, “Naib Saini pretended to drink water from Yamuna… and then spit the same water back in Yamuna.”
