A senior police officer said that HCA officials, including Jagan Mohan Rao, Treasurer C Srinivas Rao, CEO Sunil Kant, and his wife Ji Kavita, were detained for questioning.

A top official of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wrote, ‘I am writing this letter expressing concern over HCA’s frequent blackmailing about Sunrisers Hyderabad team. This is happening again and again and I think now BCCI and IPL Governing Council should take prompt action.
