In Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, 27 tourists have been killed and more than 20 people have been injured in a terrorist attack on tourists on Tuesday. Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) unit the resistance front (TRF) has taken responsibility for the attack.

Intelligence claims that the TRF terrorist Saifullah Khalid is the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack. He is also known as Saifullah Kasuri. He is very close to Lashkar-e-Taiba’s deputy chief and terrorist Hafiz Saeed.

Saifullah is a resident of Rawalkot in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). From there, Lashkar and TRF’s terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir were operating. He gave a speech in March, whose video has surfaced. In this, he is asking the Government of Pakistan not to let the Kashmir issue be calm in a strict tone.

The enemy is a big bastard. Our enemy is a big bastard sitting in Mashric and Maghrib. He will not let you take rest and relaxation. You will cool Kashmir, it will hear Balochistan. He will heat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He will not forgive your mosques. He will not forgive your madrasas. Will not forgive your markets. Will not forgive your darses. TRF made after Article 370 is removed In 2019, The Resistance Front (TRF) was formed after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. It started as an online unit of Lashkar, but with existing organizations such as Tehreek-e-Millat Islamia and Ghaznavi Hind, it soon turned into a complete terrorist group.

In January 2023, TRF was declared a terrorist organization under the illegal activities (prevention) Act (UAPA). According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, TRF has been involved in planning to kill the security forces and citizens of Jammu and Kashmir, recruitment and infiltration of terrorists and smuggling arms and drugs from across the border.
