The army car fell into a 600 feet deep ditch.
On Sunday, an army vehicle fell into a 600 meter deep ditch in the battery glasses area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir. 3 soldiers died in the accident. The deceased soldiers have been identified as Amit Kumar, Sujit Kumar and Man Bahadur.
According to preliminary information, the army vehicle was part of the convoy going from Jammu to Srinagar. On National Highway 44 at around 11:30, the driver lost control, causing the car to fall into the ditch. Army, police, SDRF and local administration are running rescue operations.
Earlier on January 4, 4 soldiers died after the army truck fell into a ditch in Bandipora district. 2 soldiers were seriously injured. Only 6 soldiers were riding in the truck. Officials said the accident occurred in SK Payin area of the district.
