Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Thug Life’ demands apology in controversies, Karnataka.

Speaking to News18, KFCC President M Narasimhalu said, ‘We are ready for talks if Kamal Haasan’s team comes to us. They should come to us. They have hurt us a lot. He said, ‘But forgiveness is needed. He has hurt every Kannadiga across the country with his statement.

High court strict stance on this issue ‘absolutely correct’

Narasimhalu said that the Karnataka High Court was ‘absolutely right’ on this issue and KFCC fully supports the High Court’s comments. If we did not stand with the people of Karnataka, they never forgive us. This reaction by Narasimhalu came to a high level meeting of KFCC, in which the famous industry stakeolders participated.

Many voices of the Kannada film community are demanding a tough stand on the issue from KFCC, especially compared to previous controversies, which included the issues of giving priority to Kannada films in theaters and ticketing of Kannada films. Famous Kannada filmmaker T Nagbharana advised the Karnataka film Chamber of Commerce, ‘The film Chamber needs to develop a’ spine ‘, which fully supports Kannada language.’ He realized that even though the matter is in court and Kamal Haasan wrote to KFCC. He said- The attitude should be to ban the film.

Lesson should be taught

Nagbharana said, they (KFCC) are run by the rules of competition and consumer authority, but they should set an example by banning their film. If Kamal Haasan’s statement was suddenly given and apologized for some untruths, people would forgive him. Which happened later and the ego we are seeing. He further said, now a lesson should be taught.
