After the flight shutdown, passengers from both countries traveled through connecting hubs like Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. However, this journey was expensive. Between January and October 2024, 1.73 lakhs via Hong Kong, 98 thousand via Singapore, 93 thousand via Thailand and 30 thousand from Bangladesh had traveled to both countries.

There were two agreements between India and China for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra There have been two major agreements between India and China to go to Kailash Mansarovar-

First agreement: On 20 May 2013, the agreement was reached between India and China to go to Kailash Mansarovar via Lipulekh Pass. The agreement was reached between the then Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi. This opened the Lipulekh Pass route for the journey.

Second agreement: On 18 September 2014, this agreement was reached in India and China over the route leading to Kailash Mansarovar via Nathula. As Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj entered into the agreement with External Affairs Minister Wang Yi.

The language of both agreements is almost the same. These agreements are applicable from the day of signing of the foreign minister of both countries. After every 5 years, the matter of increasing its time limit automatically is written in the agreement.

The height of Mount Kailash was less than Everest, but no one could climb so far 7000 people have climbed the world’s highest mountain Everest so far. Its height is 8848 meters, while the height of Mount Kailash is about 2000 meters less than Everest. Still no one has been able to climb this till date. Some people have been successful in revolving around its 52 km.

Actually, the climb of Mount Kailash is absolutely standing. The angle of the mountain is more than 65 degrees. At the same time, Mount Everest has an angle of 40-50 degrees, so Kailash’s climb is difficult. There have been many attempts to climb it. The last attempt was in 2001. However, climbing Kailash is now completely banned.
