- Jyoti’s lawyers opposed increasing remand. He said- Jyoti had the information, the police has gathered in 5 days remand. Apart from this, Jyoti has nothing to say. Jyoti has given full support to the police and other agencies in the investigation.
- The government lawyer again said that in view of the seriousness of the case, a remand of at least 5 days should be given. After which the court sent 4 days remand.
Police took medicines and diary pages from home Jyoti’s father Harish Malhotra told that Jyoti had given a page of medicine for her tau. Police can take a maximum of 15 days remand According to legal experts, a case has been registered against Jyoti under sections 3,4 and 5 of the official Secrets Act-1923. Along with this, Section 152 of the Indian Code is also imposed. In this case, the police can get a maximum of 15 days remand. Out of which 9 days remand has been received in 2 times.
