Jyoti is alleged to have shared sensitive information by staying in touch with the agents of Pakistan. Initial police investigation revealed that he had a conversation with Pakistani agents. After this, he was also questioned by Indian intelligence agencies.

It is suspected that Jyoti was identified through other agents of the Pakistani intelligence agency through Danish. His names are being told as Ali Ahsan and Shakir alias Rana Shahbaz.

The police have said to share many information, but they did not say anything about how sensitive those information is. It is also claimed that Jyoti was introduced to Pakistani intelligence officials (PIO) through Danish and her colleague Ali Ahsan.

Danish was asked to leave India: According to media reports, Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish was declared Parsona Non Grata by the Government of India on 13 May 2025 for his involvement in espionage and was ordered to leave the country.
