Reliance Jio has launched a new virtual desktop service JioPC in India. With the help of this special service, users can convert their TV into computer. The special thing is that they will not need any expensive system for this. Let us know what is this service and what are its benefits…
JioPC is a virtual desktop service, which can be used through Jio’s SET-TOP Box. This means that if you have a set-top box of Jio, which is available with JioFiber or separately for Rs 5,499, then you can also run your TV like a computer.
Currently, JioPC does not support external devices such as camera and printer and this service is still available only on Jio’s set-top box. It would not be wrong to say that this will benefit those students who have to study online. Or even such people will take advantage of this, who have to make work on basic computers at home such as making, browsing or email. People who cannot buy a new computer can prove to be a budget-friendly option.
No tension to crash…
The JioPC is fully based on the cloud, so it will not have any hardware failure, software updates or losing data. That is, you will not have to face problems like hard disk malfunction, system crash or deleting file.
