Jharkhand’s daughter Sneha Kumari waved tricolor in Thailand, won gold medal in international strength lifting

Jamshedpur: ‘Our Chori is less than the ends.’ This saying has been proved right by 25 -year -old Sneha Kumari of Jamshedpur. He won the gold medal by lifting 162.5 kg in the 52 kg category at the 12th International Strength Lifting and Inquelnd Bench Press Championship 2025 held in Pattaya, Thailand. With this victory, Sneha has become the first woman from Jharkhand to give India gold in this championship.

Sneha’s journey has been full of struggles and accidents. In a conversation with Local 18, she told that in 2017 she was a victim of a painful accident. His reed bone (L4, L5, L6) and the left wrist were broken due to falling from the roof. She was also a patient of pneumonia and asthma. The doctors advised him for mild exercise, after which he joined the gym and this is where the real turn of his life started.

After this, he started working hard for 4 hours daily in the gym. Today Sneha is not only an international gold medalist, but also a professional fitness trainer.
