The Indian pair lost 22-24, 14-21 in a 44-minute match against the fifth seeded Chinese pair.
Satvik and Chirag made a slow start, but soon gained the rhythm and took a lead 18–14 in the first game. The Indian pair, however, could not retain their rhythm and the China pair made a comeback and won the first game.
