New Delhi. Top Indian shooter Sifat Kaur Samra won a bronze medal in the women’s 50m rifle three position competition at the ISSF World Cup on Thursday. In the women’s 50m rifle three position event, the current world record holder 23 -year -old Sifat scored 453.1 in the final of eight shooters.
In the qualification, Sifat finished second by scoring a total of 592 marks in three phases of Neeling, Prone and Standing. He won the gold medal in the World Cup at Buenos Aires earlier this year, which made a great start of this session after a disappointing performance in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Among other Indians, Ashi Chowk was ranked 11th with 589 points in the qualification, while Anjum Maudgil finished 27th with 586 points. Shrisanka Sadangi finished 53rd with 582 points and Nischal finished 60th.
