New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday officially confirmed the resumption of the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. After the temporary suspension, the tournament will now resume from May 17, 2025 and end with the final on June 3, 2025. 6 cities have been selected for further matches. BCCI said that the decision was taken after a long discussion with government officials security agencies and all the leading stakeholders associated with the tournament. A total of 17 matches will be played at six places in this season to resume: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. According to the revised calendar, two double-headed matches have been decided on Sunday. BCCI has said that a complete list of matches will be made available soon.
