New Delhi. The 58th match of IPL 2025 was being played in Dharamshala between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals today, but the match has to be canceled in the middle. Punjab, batting first, scored 122 runs in 10.1 overs and also lost 1 wicket. Blackout was done in Dharamshala amidst the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. Due to which the match had to be canceled.
Shreyas Iyer said after winning the toss, “We will bat first keeping the outfield in mind. Fans are happy with this decision. If you look at the trend in the IPL, the players who are in form and win the match, win the championship. The team’s morale is high. It is important that we are going with the same batting line.”

The match of Punjab and Delhi Capitals has been canceled. In view of continuous drone attacks from Pakistan, black out was also black out in Dharamshala. Due to which the match had to be canceled and the stadium was also evacuated.

After 5 overs, Punjab have scored 65 runs without any wicket loss. Prabhasimran Singh is playing 23 and Priyansh Arya is playing 41 runs. Both have got a good start.
