What are the rules of alternative players?

According to the earlier schedule, the IPL final was to be held on May 25, but now it will be on June 3, which will make it difficult for the players joining the national team. The IPL said that we had to temporarily suspend IPL 2025, resulting in completion of it after the pre -scheduled date of 25 May 2025, so we have re -evaluated the provisions related to alternative players. It is further written in the mail that in view of the unavailability of some foreign players due to national commitments or individual causes or any injury or illness, it will be allowed to be temporarily selected until the conclusion of this tournament. The IPL also made it clear that this decision is subject to the condition that temporary alternative players taken beyond this point will not be eligible to retain in the next year.
