The upcoming iPhone 17 lineup is expected to include iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. According to initial leaks and reports, all these models will see important upgrade, such as better displays, advanced camera technology, new design and many new capabilities. According to recent reports, Apple can launch the new iPhone 17 models in early September, now a few weeks away, the countdown has started officially.
iPhone 17 Launch Date: Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has told in his latest Power on Newsletter that the fans of Apple should mark the week of September 8 in their calendar, because at the same time the announcement and sale of the next iPhone lineup is likely to start.
Gurman said that Apple traditionally launches new iPhones immediately after Labor Day, which is on September 1 this year. According to this pattern, the launch event is expected to be next week, which is in line with the normal release timeline of the tech giant.
iPhone 17 chipset: According to a recent post by a user called Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo, the A19 Pro of Apple may be chip in the iPhone 17 Air, not normal A19. However, the version used in 17 Air will come with 5-core GPU, while the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are likely to have a more powerful 6-core GPU setup.
iPhone 17 Design: According to reports, Apple is planning to re -introduce aluminum frames in the entire iPhone 17 lineup, including Pro and Pro Max verses. This is a change from the recent point of view of the brand, in which it used stainless steel or titanium in its premium models, such as iPhone 15 Pro, used aluminum for budget-friendly options such as iPhone SE and iPhone 16.
iPhone 17 camera: Talking about cameras, Apple is rumored about the front-facing camera of iPhone 17 from 12MP to 24MP sensor, which promises sharper selfies and clever video output. Regular versions are expected to have a dual-lens setup, which will include a single 48MP main rear camera. At the same time, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is likely to have three 48MP sensors, with wide, ultra-wide and telephoto lens, which will also have video recording capacity in 8K resolution.
Expected India price of iPhone 17: In 2025, Apple is expecting to maintain the existing pricing approach for its base iPhone models. According to the initial leak, the iPhone 17 can be launched in India at an initial price of around Rs 89,900, while the new iPhone 17 Air can be available in around Rs 99,900. The price of the top-end iPhone 17 Pro Max can be around Rs 1,64,900 and a little lower premium iPhone 17 Pro can be available in about Rs 1,39,900.
