iOS 19 is coming in a few weeks, iPhone users will get these special features

iOS 19 update: Apple is going to release its new software update iOS 19 for iPhone users in a few weeks. There is a possibility that Apple may release it during its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). WWDC is going to be held on 9 June this year. However, the company has not yet given any information about the features of iOS 19 on its behalf. But the tech actors believe that this will be the biggest change update of Apple so far. These updates will be enhancing AI experience.

Which new features will be in iOS 19
Changes in designing

iOS 19 can be inspired by Visionos to a great extent. Apple is trying to bring the same look of iOS, iPados 19 and Macos 16 with this update. According to reports, this time the users will get some new design elements like Transalcient layers, floating navigation bars and rounded controls. According to Leikar, this time you can also see makeover in basic apps like camera and messages.

New siri

The iOS18 started the journey of AI, in which you saw many new features. Now iOS 19 will be based on the same foundation and will bring more smart tools. The most wait for change is the next generation siri. Siri will now be smart. For example, you will be able to say to find a file in the message sent from Siri last week or you can say to search an email. After the new update, Siri will work from photo edit to sending files.

Interestingly, Apple is allegedly testing another smart Siri, which runs on a large language model (LLM). Probably it can compete with tools like Chatgpt or Google Gemini. However, this chatgpt-style Siri will probably not be ready till iOS 20, as its development is still lagging behind.

Real time translation

A special feature of iOS 19 can be real-time language translation, which will work through airpods. When this feature is live, users wearing airpods will be able to talk live with people speaking different languages. Translation of voice will be translated directly to the user’s ears through the iPhone’s Translate app.

Improvement in health app too

The Apple is also improving the Health App, including AI-based coaching features and food tracking. However, these features can come in the subsequent updates after iOS 19, such as iOS 19.4, in early 2026.

Stage Manager can get feature

To improve the productivity, Apple is probably planning to bring the Stage Manager feature on the iPhone, which is currently on iPads and MACS. This will provide the facility to run several apps simultaneously by connecting USB-C port iPhones to the external display, which will give users a desktop-like experience, as in the Dex of Samsung.

The iOS 19 update will not be available on iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. All other iPhones who are currently running iOS 18 are likely to get this update. This includes models up to the latest iPhone 16 series, 15 series, and iPhone 12 mini.
