India’s Under-23 team announced, match against Tajikistan-Republic of Republic

New Delhi. India’s head-23 (India U23 Team) Maintim head coach Naushad Musa on Monday announced a 23-member team for the upcoming friendship matches against the Republic of Tajikistan and Kyrgyz, including three players of the senior team. This tour is very important for India given the preparation of the Asian Cup qualifier.

The Indian team was practicing at the AIFF National Center of Excellence in Kolkata from June 1. In September, India will clash with Tajikistan on 18 June and the Republic of Kyrgyz on 21 June as part of the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup 2026 qualifier preparations. Both matches will be played at Sehor Central Stadium in Sehor, about 25 km from Tajikistan’s capital Dusamb.

The practice camp started with 29 players, out of which 20 got a place in the final list. The team consists of three players from the senior team as forward Suhail Ahmed Bhat, midfielder Ayush Chhetri and defender Tekcham Abhishek Singh. Goalkeeper: Mohammad Arbaaz, Priyansh Dubey, Sahil

Defender: Vikas Yumnam, Deeppendu Biswas, Muhammad Sahif AP, Nikhil Barla, Pramveer, Subham Bhattacharya, Tekcham Abhishek Singh

Midfielder: Ayush Chhetri, Chingangbam Shivaldo Singh, Lalremtluanga Fannam, Lalrinaliana Hames, Macartan Louis Nalsan, Mohammad Amen, Vibin Mohanan, Vinith Venkatesh

Forward: Joseph Sunny, Mohammad Sanan Ke, Parthib Sundar Gogoi, Suhail Ahmed Bhat, Thingujam Koru Singh
