New Delhi. The Indian Womencrick Team will play a three -match domestic ODI International Series against Australia in September as a preparation for the ICC World Cup to be held in the country this year. The Cricket Board of India (BCCI) gave this information on Wednesday. The BCCI also said that Mains ‘A’ teams of Australia and South Africa will visit India between September and November and during this time multi -day and limited overs cricket matches will be played.
The BCCI said in a statement, “Australia’s Women’s Women will visit India for the three -match ODI international series that will play an important role in the preparation of the team before the ICC Womencrick World Cup 2025.” Three matches of the women’s series will be played on 14, 17 and 20 September at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The 50 -over Women’s Cup in India will be held at many places between September 29 to October 26.
At the same time, Australia’s Mains ‘A’ team will also be on a tour of India and in addition to playing four -day two matches here, three ODIs will also play. The tour will begin with a four-day match in Lucknow from 16-19 September. The second match will also be played at this site from 23-26 September. Three ODI matches will be played in Kanpur on 30 September and three and 5 October. After the series against Australia, there will also be a series against Mains ‘A’ team of South Africa in October-November.
The BCCI said in a statement, “Mains A team of South Africa will also visit India for a detailed series in which matches of multi -day and limited overs will be played in Bengaluru. Two multi -day matches will be held at BCCI’s Center of Excellence while three ODIs will be played at N Chinnaswamy Stadium. “Four -day two matches against South Africa ‘A’ will be played from 30 October and November 6.
