The Delhi government has asked hospitals to keep the entire system of beds, oxygen, medicines and vaccines.
Corona patients are constantly increasing in the country. In Uttarakhand and Haryana today, 3-3 cases have come up in UP. In the last three days, 10 cases have been reported in Thane, Maharashtra.
On May 23, 20 in Ahmedabad, 4 in UP, 5 in Haryana and a 9 -month -old child in Bengaluru have been found positive. In this way, there are 342 active cases of Corona in the country so far. There have been 2 deaths.
On the other hand, the Delhi government has issued advisory regarding Kovid-19. The government has asked all hospitals to keep complete arrangements for beds, oxygen, medicines and vaccines.
All hospitals in Delhi have been instructed to send every positive covid sample to the Lok Nayak Hospital for genome sequencing.
All institutions have to upload their reports on the Delhi Health Portal daily. Advisory comes at a time when Corona cases are increasing in countries like Pakistan, China, Thailand and Singapore.
According to the Indian Sars-Cov-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG), there have been four cases of another LF.7 types of NB.1.8.1 of Kovid-19 in India. This variant is visible in the increasing cases of China and Asia.
WHO has not considered them worrying but has categraged them as a variant kept under surveillance. However, spike protein mutations such as A435S, V445H, and T478i of NB.1.8.1 spread faster than other variants. They do not affect the immunity against Kovid.
JN.1 variant is the most common in India. This variant is found in more than half of the samples in testing. This is followed by cases of BA.2 (26 percent) and Omikron Sabalines (20 percent) variants.
33 active cases in Gujarat Gujarat has so far received a total of 40 cases, of which 33 are active. Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh said that 23 cases have been registered in the capital till Thursday. 4 new patients appeared in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Three patients are kept in isolation, while one is hospitalized. At the same time, 5 patients have been found in 48 hours in Haryana. These include 2 women. All these patients have no international travel history.
JN.1 variant weakens immunity JN.1 is a strain of BA2.86 of Omikron. It was first seen in August 2023. In December 2023, WHO declared it ‘variant of interest’. It has about 30 mutations, which weaken immunity.
According to the University of Johns Hopkins in the US, JN.1 spreads more easily than other variants, but it is not very serious. It remains the most common variant in many parts of the world.
Symptoms of JN.1 variant may live from a few days to weeks. If your symptoms persist for a long time, then you may have a long time to live. This is a condition in which some symptoms of Covid-19 persist even after recovering.
