India won by 6 runs in the Oval Test against England. When Rashid Latif described it as a real Test cricket, former England PM Rishi Sunak called India’s return to India as great.
India defeated England by 6 runs in the fifth Test match. This Test match was very dramatic. At one time, England was just 73 runs away from the victory and had 7 wickets left. The Indian team made a tremendous comeback from here and the last 7 wickets of England took a shock in a span of just 66 runs. In this way, the winner of the match which was once seen in the bag of England is now India.
Rashid Latif of Pakistan said about this match, ‘Test matches played in England and Australia have a different attraction. In this series, especially in the final Test, we saw real Test cricket- pressure, return and strategic bets. The last Test was the name of the fast bowlers. The way Siraj and the famous Krishna bowled under pressure were incredible. Mohammad Siraj took 9 wickets in the match and won the player of the match.
Earlier, former England Prime Minister Rishi Sunak posted on his ex account, ‘incredible! Disappointing for England, but what a great series! Brook and Route fought a lot, India’s brilliant comeback, walking to bat excellent.’
On the other hand, Rashid Latif praised Siraj the most among the Indian players. He said, ‘Siraj maintained his patience when England was close to victory. His ball dismissed for Jamie Smith was important. And after that he did not let England breathe breathes.
