Indian hockey team needs victory under any circumstances.
New Delhi. The Indian hockey team captained by Harmanpreet Singh has lost 4 consecutive matches. If the team has to maintain its title hopes, then it will have to perform its best in the Male FIH Pro League match against Australia’s strong team on Saturday. The European phase of the Tournament was disappointing for the Indian men’s hockey team. He suffered a 1-2 and 2-3 defeat to Olympic champions Netherlands in Amstelveen. After this, the team lost both the matches against Argentina.
‘Stay close to some of our matches’
He said, ‘Some of our matches in the last four matches have been close, but we had to face defeat. We want to change it and win. The Indian team continued to struggle to convert the penalty corner against the Netherlands and he also scored goals in the last moments. The performance of the Indian defense line against Argentina was very poor, due to which the team had to suffer defeat. India also had to struggle to get a penalty corner and could achieve only three penalty corners as compared to Argentina’s eight.

India will now have to avoid any kind of mistake against Australia’s strong team. And to win, you have to put all your strength. India defeated Australia at the Paris Olympics and the team will try to take inspiration from that match. India will conclude its European phase with two matches against Belgium on 21 and 22 June.
