New Delhi. The second informal Test match between India A vs England Lions will be played in North Comment from 6 June. In this Test match, Team India’s new new Test captain Shubman Gill will not be able to play. While announcing the team for the 5 -match Test series in England, the BCCI had said that Gill will join India A team before this match with his Gujarat Titans opening partner B Sai Sudarshan. But now Gill and Sai Sudarshan will travel to England along with the main team. However, KL Rahul is expected to play in this match as he joined India A on Tuesday.
Nitish Kumar Reddy and Shardul Thakur put 14.5 and 28 overs against Lions respectively and they would like to increase these figures in the second match. The second match against Lions will end on 9 June. After this, India will play an Intra-Squad match against India A in Becanham, which will probably be held behind the closed doors, after which the Test team will travel to Leeds.
