Faridabad. Incidents of AC bursting have started increasing as the heat increases. Recently, one such incident took place in Karnal in Haryana, which put people in panic. A sudden fire broke out in the Krishna temple located in Sector-14 of Karnal on Sunday night. When this incident happened, Aarti was going on in the temple at that time. Then suddenly there was a strong explosion in the AC placed on the first floor. On seeing this, smoke started coming out of there and flames started to rise. The priests and others present in the temple immediately ran upwards and started trying to extinguish the fire. But by then goods worth lakhs of rupees were burnt to ashes.
Gas leakage and negligence are becoming the reason for the accident
To prevent such incidents, servicing of AC from time to time is very important. Talking to Local18, the AC mechanic named Bharat said that he has been engaged in this work for the last 8 to 9 years and he has seen many such incidents. India said that there can be many reasons for AC burst. A big reason is that when nitrogen or pressure is added to check gas leakage in an AC and then it is left like that. Later another mistry comes and turns on AC without checking. In such a situation, there can be a blast in AC.
Accidents can be avoided on time
India says that till the gas leakage is not there, the gas should not be filled and the entire investigation is necessary before putting any kind of pressure. AC should have timely maintenance. Service must be done at least twice during the summer season so that there is no problem.
Put AC in airy place, take care of security
He also said that AC should always be installed in open and ventilated place. Where at least 5 to 7 feet ventilation is so that the heat of AC can come out and the temperature does not increase much inside. If we take some precautions, then events like AC bursting can be easily avoided.
