The acting of both child actors playing the lead character in the film based on the famous English novel was also appreciated. But these days there has been controversy over the filming of this film and some of its scenes. Both artists are now elderly. But he has accused the producer of the film ‘Romeo and Juliet’, the Paramount Pictures of child sexual abuse.
According to the BBC report, both the child artists of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ have reached the seventh decade of life today. Both actors have alleged that the director of this film Franco Jeffreili instigated him to do naked scenes. While the proposal to shoot such a scene was not given earlier. Both actors have sued the film’s producer Paramount Pictures and Director Franco Jeferry. Also sought compensation of $ 500 million.
