In the northeastern states of the country, the floods and landslide conditions continued due to continuous rains on Thursday. About 7 lakh people are affected in 21 districts of Asam. The death toll in flood-scorch has increased to 19. 9 rivers, including Brahmaputra, are flowing above the danger mark. On the other hand, 63 people were rescued by helicopter from Chant in Northern Sikkim, affected by landslides. 64 people are still stranded.

The monsoon has reached the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border. It will reach Madhya Pradesh by June 10, although the rain has started in the state. Due to snowfall, there has been a drastic drop in temperature in Dhauladhar mountain ranges in Himachal Pradesh. Dharamshala recorded a temperature of 16 degrees.

The Meteorological Department on Friday issued an alert for heavy rainfall in 7 states of North East, including Bihar. At the same time, there is a possibility of moderate rains in some areas with thunderstorms in 17 states. There is a possibility of humidity with heat in western Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. There is also a possibility of increasing temperatures 3 to 5 degrees in Rajasthan after June 6.
