In the northeastern states of the country, the floods and landslide conditions continued due to continuous rains on Thursday. About 7 lakh people are affected in 21 districts of Asam. The death toll in flood-scorch has increased to 19. 9 rivers, including Brahmaputra, are flowing above the danger mark. On the other hand, 63 people were rescued by helicopter from Chant in Northern Sikkim, affected by landslides. 64 people are still stranded.
