There is no improvement in floods and landslide conditions due to continuous rains in the northeastern states of the country. Two more people died in a flood in Assam on Wednesday. With this, since the monsoon on May 24, 19 people have lost their lives in the state so far. 6.8 lakh people in 21 districts are affected by floods.
So far 12 people have lost their lives in Arunachal Pradesh, while two people are missing. The search operation is going on to search for them. A total of 49 people have died in the northeastern states in the last 11 days. It has killed 19 in Assam, 12 in Arunachal Pradesh, 6-6 in Meghalaya and Mizoram, 3 in Sikkim, 2 in Tripura and one in Nagaland.
Here, the monsoon has still stopped at the Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border. It will reach Madhya Pradesh by June 10, although the rain has started in the state. On Wednesday, there was rain in Bhopal, Shajapur, Chhindwara, Rajgarh, Sagar, Satna, Dhar and Damoh. Drizzle is expected to continue in the state till 6 June.
In Rajasthan too, on Wednesday, there were thunderstorms and hailstorms fell in many places. Due to this, the temperature in all cities except Barmer and Jaisalmer was below 40 degrees. The Meteorological Department on Thursday issued a thunderstorm alert in 22 districts of the state.
The IMD has issued rain alert with thunderstorms in a total of 25 states on Thursday. There is also an alert of heatwave in Odisha and parts of Rajasthan. There is also a possibility of increasing temperatures 3 to 5 degrees in Rajasthan after June 6.

Maharashtra: Mumbai received rain throughout the day on Wednesday. Meanwhile, people were seen wearing umbrellas and raincoats and were seen coming for their work.
