Dr. Narendra Singla said that cells that have special blood group antigens such as H and A Antigen, can show more immunity to heat. This can be done by the action of some special enzymes that are associated with these antigens. These enzymes can protect cells during heat stress. Also, the amount of antigen can also show how well a cell can tolerate heat. The cells that have high amounts of these antigens can bear the heat better.
O blood group people feel more heat
Dr. Badal Taori, Consultant of Medicavar Hospitals, Navi Mumbai General Medicine, said that people with O O blood group have high amount of adrenalin hormone. When stress or physical hard work is more due to adrenalin hormones, body temperature can also increase along with heartbeat and body can produce more heat. On the other hand, people with B or AB blood groups may have more ability to tolerate heat due to blood circulation and different reactions of the immune system. However, these claims cannot be confirmed scientifically. The blood group does not directly determine how much heat a person will feel, yet some blood group has been linked to some health risks.
Dr. Singla said that people with O blood group may reduce the risk of heart attack and blood clots. On the other hand, people with A or AB blood groups may have a higher risk of certain types of cancer, such as stomach and pancreatic cancer. Although there is no direct connection between the blood group and the heat feeling, the blood group continues to research on the relationship between antigens and cellular heat tolerance. Dr. Singla said that more study is required to know this. After that, it will be known whether a person’s ability to feel the heat of a blood group has any effect. Dr. Taori said that the amount of water in the body, Weight, Factors such as metabolism, fitness and lifestyle have a more impact than a blood group when feeling heat. He said that to avoid heat, staying cold, drinking enough water and avoiding direct sunlight is necessary.
