If this technology is installed in the aircraft, then all the passengers will be saved even if there is a crash, no one will go to life

By the way, the journey of airplane is considered to be the fastest and safe journey in the world, because airplanes are victims of accident in very low percentage instead of trains, buses or cars. But it is also true that if there is a crash, then the number of survivors is also negligible. Almost all the passengers are losing their lives. After the recent airplane crash in Ahmedabad, there is a fear in the minds of the passengers. Along with fear, there is also a question as to why such an airplane is not built, in which there is no risk of life in the event of crash.

So for your information, let us know that work on a technology is going on, in which no one will die in the event of an airplane crash. A few days ago a post on the social media platform X went viral, claiming that an engineering company in Ukraine developed a special detailed cabin system. In this system, the aircraft’s passenger cabin will separate from the airplane at any threat and gradually with the help of parachutes, it will land on the ground.

This may take a little film to hear, but there is a serious idea behind it. In this system, the passenger part of the aircraft (called cabin) is designed as a separate unit. If there is a major threat during the flight, such as the engine shutdown, the missile attack, or any technical failure, then the cabin will be separated from the main aircraft (where the engine and cockpit). As soon as it is separated, large parachutes installed in it will open, which will gradually help the cabin in a safe landing on the ground or water.

Is this system installed in an aircraft?

This technique has so far been introduced as just a design or idea. That is, it is currently on paper only and it has not been tried in a real aircraft. The name of the Ukrainian company which is being claimed to be built is also not clear yet. In addition, there are many types of obstacles to bring it into reality, such as the approval of international rules, a lot of tests, and the biggest thing is its cost. Explain that every aircraft of the world is made under international rules and goes through many types of tests.

How will this system work

Now the question arises that how does this system work? The aircraft will have sensors, which can identify whether there is a serious threat or not. As soon as the danger is felt, the system automatically becomes active. The pilot also gets to know the problem. In such a situation, he can also activate this system. After this, the cabin will separate from the main aircraft and its big parachutes will open. While landing on the ground, the passengers do not get a shock, for this, shock absorber or wind -filled cushions in this cabin can also be there.

What are the challenges?

It looks quite good to hear, and it is possible that soon work can start fast on it. But this technique is challenging in itself. One is a difficult task to separate a part from the plane flying at such a height and high speed. Then, the parachute system and the technique of separation in it will increase the weight of the aircraft, which will cost more fuel. Apart from this, adding such heavy technology will also increase the price of the aircraft and its maintenance expenses. International aviation institutions such as FAA and EASA conduct very strictly before approving any new technology.

Do you trust this news?

Let us know that whatever information is available on the Internet around this technique, it is yet based on only one social media post and has not been verified by a trusted scientific institution, airplane company (eg Boeing or Airbus), or Aviation Safety Institution. Therefore, until more confirmed information comes, it should be considered only a concept.

By the way, it has been said in that post that Vladimir Tatarenko, a Ukrainian engineer, has introduced the concept of this detailed cabin system. Tatarno worked on this project for almost three years, and in 2016, his design came into the limelight in some media reports. If we talk about three big companies of Ukraine, then they include Antonov, Motor SICH, and Kharkiv Aviation Institute. Kharkive Aviation Institute is an educational and research institute, which works on aviation techniques. It may be that such a prototype is part of any of their projects, but no clear information is available.

Parachute can bring the entire aircraft down

By the way, this is not the first time that such concepts have come out to make the airplane more secure. Some small personal aircraft (eg Cirrus SR22) have a parachute system for the entire aircraft. This system helps bring down the aircraft in any emergency. But it is not possible for large aircraft such as Boeing 747 or Airbus A380, as they have a lot of size and weight. Similarly, ejection seats are also used only in fighter plans, not common passenger planes. Some experts have suggested that the cabin should be made with strong materials, so that there is not much damage in the accident, but it also does not guarantee hundred percent security.

What AI will help in getting the danger

There can be many technical improvements in the aviation sector in future. Artificial intelligence ie AI system can be detected in advance by monitoring the status of the aircraft. Autonomous flight system, which can function without a pilot, can reduce the possibility of human mistake. New and strong materials such as graphene, can make the aircraft more durable. And satellite -based navigation systems can make the flight even more accurate and safe.
