New Delhi. Superstar Aamir Khan’s film ‘Dhoom 3’ was released in 2013. Siddharth Nigam made a Bollywood debut with this film and looted the Mahfil by playing the role of Young Aamir Khan. Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 was produced by Yash Raj Films. Recently, Siddharth Nigam told that he had no idea about Bollywood. This can be gauged from the fact that when he got a call for audition, he did not even know what Yash Raj Films is.
Siddharth Nigam, who has been 24 years old, is now making his mark as an actor. Recently, he was seen in the film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Koi Jaan’ along with Salman Khan. Now he is playing the lead role in the musical web series ‘Hai Junoon’. But despite getting the initial stardom, Siddharth believes that his journey was not glamorous at all.
How was the reaction of Siddharth Nigam?
Talking to HT, Siddharth Nigam said, ‘When I got a call from Yash Raj Films in 2013, I did not even know what he is. Shanu Sharma Mam (Casting Director) called me for Dhoom 3 and we were very confused. We were scared because we had no one in Mumbai, where it was being called like this. I really felt that this could be a scam. I was a boy watching crime petrol and careful India. I thought that if I call and sell me in Mumbai, then there would be a problem.
Yash Raj did not know about Films
The actor told that at that time he did not really know what is Yash Raj Films and who is Shanu Mam. Finally, his brother searched Yash Raj Films and Shanu Sharma on Google, then he understood how big this opportunity is. Siddharth further said, ‘And then he adopted me with an open heart. Yash Raj Films too and the entire film industry too.
Talk about his character in ‘Hai Passion’
Apart from this, Siddharth talked about his character and his association in the web series ‘Hai Junoon’. This is the story of a dance group. Siddharth is playing the role of Vikram in this show. Talking about his character, Siddharth says, ‘I feel very connected with Vikram’s character. I think the young viewers will be able to see themselves in it, because in the end we are all running after our dreams. People like us, who come out of a small town and come to this big world. We have to find ourselves first, we have to recognize our real voice and this journey is long.
