Amid criticisms about age difference in thug life, Trisha described the experience of working with Kamal Haasan as ‘magical’.
New Delhi: Kamal Haasan’s new film Thug Life with director Mani Ratnam has been in constant discussion these days. From Star Cast to director and music director AR Rrahman, AR Rrahman is also promoting the film vigorously. Recently, the trailer of the film has discussed the discussion since its release, in both cases it is a matter of great reunion and controversy. The film stars 70 -year -old Hassan with actress Trisha Krishnan and Abhirami, who are early in the 40s. Some intimate scenes including one kiss took attention and due to this the star cast of the film is also falling prey to trolls.
On Redit, a user posted screenshots from the trailer, including a romantic moment between Kamal and Trisha and a kiss with Abhiram, whose title is, ‘No God please.’ Such comments have been made on this, ‘only 30 years difference. Parseli solmet! ‘ Some users surprised the scenes and described the age difference as uncomfortable. However, Trisha, who talked about the film at a press event in Mumbai, did not appear to be troubled by this discussion. Recalling his excitement ta before signing the film, he told NEWS18.com, ‘I think this is something that I knew when he announced the film and I did not even sign it. So then I felt that wow, this is magic and I was not even a part of the film at that time.
Talking about the synergy between Haasan and Ratnam, he said, ‘As I said earlier, watching them come together, seeing their chemistry, as Kamal sir has said many times before, he used to talk to his eyes. They were fully coordinated with each other. And it was amazing to see them and so all of us actors thought, “Hey man, we have to do some work here. We have to stop staring at them. So it was magic. There is also Silambasana in thugs life and it is based on a gangster’s visit who takes a young boy into the world of crime. The boy eventually becomes a reliable companion, who creates an atmosphere for an epic action drama.
